Russell Crowe and Patti Smith treated fans in Iceland to a surprise duet on Reykjavík Culture Night

Actor and singer Russell Crowe treated his fans in Iceland to a surprise duet with Patti Smith on Reykjavík Culture Night on Saturday. Crowe is now in Iceland filming scenes for Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film Noah, where Smith will sing the title song.

The duo performed Patti Smith’s most widely known song ‘Because the Night’ at two of Crowe’s three gigs on Culture Night.
