Icelandic singer Björk

Icelandic singer and songwriter Björk has teamed up with noted British broadcaster and naturalist David Attenborough for an exploration of the nature of music, in a new one-off documentary; Attenborough and Bjork: The Nature of Music. The documentary follows Attenborough and Björk around the world as they tell the story of how and why music has evolved.

“Born from Bjork’s revolutionary music project [Biophilia] we are thrilled to be able to document this incredible journey with her; she is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in popular culture and truly pushes boundaries like no other artist does,” Executive producer Lucas Ochoa told The Hollywood reporter.

The documentary is directed by Louise Hooper and will air on UK broadcaster Channel 4
