Three days left to catch French Film Festival

The annual French Film Festival in Akureyri and Reykjavík is coming to a close on Thursday, February 9. The selection of films this year is greater than ever.

The French Film Festival is the second largest annual event in cinema, after the Reykjavík International Film Festival. This year, a special focus is placed on French women in filmmaking. Among the films playing are the critically acclaimed Golden Globe winner The Artist, also nominated for 10 Academy Awards later this month, and La guerre est déclarée, Declaration of War by director Valérie Donzelli.

The festival is organized by The Green Light, Alliance français, Institute français and the French and Canadian Embassies in Reykjavík.
